In today’s busy world, finding the time to train at a public gym can be very difficult. Thankfully, with the rise of home gym equipment, being able to achieve a great physique in the comfort of your own home is possible. Our home gym equipment is super easy to set up and will allow you to do a range of exercises. In this blog we’ll talk about the benefits of a home gym, as well as the exercises possible with a power rack, bench and some weights!
Benefits of a home gym:
Convenience:
Owning a home gym is super convenient as you avoid the hassle of travelling to and from the gym, as well as sticking to its opening hours. This convenience makes it much easier to stick to your fitness routine and achieve your goals consistently.
Cost Effective:
Whilst the setting up of a home gym may require an initial investment, in the long run you’ll be saving money! With a one-time expense, you’ll be granted unlimited access to your home gym at any time of the day/week.
Privacy and Comfort:
Many people never begin going to the gym because of insecurities, confidence and feeling uncomfortable training in front of others. A public gym can be a daunting place, however, with a home gym you can train however you like, whenever you like, in whatever clothes you like!
Home Gym Exercise list:
Exercise 1: Bench Press
The bench press is a worldwide known movement, great for targeting the Chest muscles, as well as providing a great exercise to test your strength with. With the use of our Olympic Barbell, you can train your chest with perfect form. Unlike bench pressing in a public gym where you need a spotter, our power racks come with safety bars, so if you’re ever struggling, simply let the power rack do the work for you!
Exercise 2: Squats
Like the Bench Press, the squat is another compound movement you can perform with our power rack. The squat is great at targeting your quads, back and legs overall. With our safety bars in place, failing a squat doesn’t have to be such a big deal, like it would be in a public gym. If you’re like me and struggle with the squat movement, you can perform it in the comfort of your own home.
Exercise 3: Deadlift
The big three final exercises on this list is the deadlift. Performing this exercise has never been easier, no need to wait for a deadlift platform to be available, simply jump straight in and get to work.
